Join OAG Group of Companies as a Cost Controller / Project Finance Executive and play a pivotal role in safeguarding project profitability across our portfolio. Based in Subang Jaya, you will partner with project managers and finance teams to monitor costs, track expenses, and ensure accurate financial records from inception to project close.
As a key liaison between project delivery and finance, you will implement robust cost controls, analyze variances, and ensure timely and accurate recording of expenditures. You will collaborate with procurement, operations, and accounting colleagues to forecast cash flow, prepare cost-to-complete reports, and support budgeting processes for both current and upcoming projects. Your work will help optimize working capital, improve forecasting accuracy, and contribute to strategic decision making.

Responsibility
- Monitor project costs and expenditures against budgets and approved forecasts.
- Prepare and maintain timely cost-to-complete and variance reports for management.
- Manage invoicing, milestone payments, and supplier reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow.
- Track expenses and implement robust cost controls across project portfolios.
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and operations to capture accurate cost data.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for current and future projects.
- Support month-end close, audits, and compliance with internal controls.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost control, project finance, or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with Excel and an ERP/accounting system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB, QuickBooks).
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork; ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
