Income Insurance Limited is seeking a motivated Credit Control Executive to strengthen our cash collection performance in Singapore. In this role you will lead the day to day management of accounts receivable, ensuring prompt collection of outstanding debts and adherence to credit control policies. You will monitor aging reports, identify at risk accounts, and implement effective recovery strategies. The ideal candidate will combine analytical rigor with excellent communication skills to negotiate payment plans while preserving strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include collaborating with sales and underwriting to evaluate credit risk, applying appropriate collection techniques, and escalating complex cases to the legal or external agencies when necessary. You will maintain accurate ledger entries and reconciliations, resolve disputes quickly, and ensure all activities comply with local regulations and company standards. You will also prepare regular reports on delinquency trends, forecast potential risk areas, and participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce days sales outstanding DSO.

Responsibility
- Manage end to end accounts receivable and lead timely collections to reduce overdue balances
- Contact customers via phone, email and written communication to negotiate payment terms and collect outstanding debts
- Investigate discrepancies and disputes, maintain accurate AR ledger and aging reports
- Enforce credit control policies assess credit risk on new and existing customers and set appropriate credit limits
- Collaborate with Sales Underwriting and Finance to resolve credit issues while preserving customer relationships
- Prepare recovery actions and escalate to internal risk legal or external agencies when necessary
- Monitor cash flow and aging dashboards provide monthly delinquency and collection performance reports and identify process improvements to reduce DSO
Qualification
- Educational background in finance accounting or a related field
- Proven experience in credit control or accounts receivable in insurance or financial services
- Strong knowledge of debt collection regulations and compliance in Singapore
- Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle and MS Excel
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently manage multiple accounts and meet targets
