Join Allied Search Pte. Ltd. as a CSSD Technician focusing on surgery instrument processing in the Central Region of Singapore. You will be a key member of the Central Sterile Supplies Department CSSD, ensuring decontamination, sterilization, and proper inspection of instruments used in operating theatres. In this role, you will work with nursing and surgical teams to ensure timely delivery of sterile instrument sets, accurate packaging and labeling, and meticulous record-keeping for instrument traceability. You will gain hands-on experience with sterilization equipment, including autoclaves and washer-disinfectors, and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives that uphold the highest levels of care.

As part of our CSSD team, you will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the department, stocking sterile supplies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Training will be provided on site for the latest sterilization practices and safety procedures, and performance will be recognized as part of a collaborative and patient-centered medical environment.
Responsibility
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, and sterilization of surgical instruments in accordance with CSSD protocols.
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment including autoclaves and washer-disinfectors; maintain accurate sterilization logs and instrument traceability records.
- Assemble instrument trays, wrap sets, label packages, and ensure correct packaging standards for safe handling and delivery to operating theatres.
- Manage sterile storage, stock control, and timely delivery to surgical teams; coordinate with nurses and surgeons to support theatre schedules.
- Adhere to infection control guidelines, aseptic technique, and safety regulations; participate in quality assurance audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform routine maintenance checks, report equipment faults, and support CSSD housekeeping to uphold a clean and organized department.
- Assist with inventory management, waste disposal, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualification
- Diploma or Certificate in Sterilization Services, Healthcare Support, or related field; or equivalent practical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience in CSSD or surgical instrument processing preferred; willingness to learn and adapt to sterilization standards.
- Knowledge of sterilization methods including steam autoclaving, chemical sterilants, and instrument inspection practices.
- Ability to operate CSSD equipment such as autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, ultrasonic cleaners, and sterilization monitoring devices.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and good organizational skills; ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment and comply with infection control policies.
