Responsibility
- Provide frontline customer support to Maxicare members via phone, email, and chat, delivering accurate information about benefits, coverage, and claims.
- Assist members with enrollment, ID creation, plan changes, and eligibility verification in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Explain allied health benefits, provider networks, and limitations; guide members to appropriate care options and wellness programs.
- Document interactions in the CRM with accurate data entry to ensure up-to-date member records and smooth case escalation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external healthcare partners to resolve inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Promote self-service tools and digital resources to improve member experience and reduce call volume.
- Maintain high-quality customer service metrics through active listening, empathy, and professional communication.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in Allied Health, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written English communication; confidence interacting with diverse members via phone, chat, and email.
- Interest in healthcare administration, patient advocacy, insurance, and Maxicare benefits.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, data entry accuracy, and privacy/compliance guidelines.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure in a fast-paced contact-center environment.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, customer-first attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; internship or volunteer experience in healthcare is a plus.
