Seven Seven Global Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to strengthen our enterprise data architecture and governance capabilities. This hybrid role based in Makati (Makati City, Metro Manila) offers the opportunity to influence data standards across the organization while collaborating with business, analytics, and technology teams.
As a Data Architect, you will lead the design and optimization of data models, data flows, and data storage solutions that enable trusted, scalable insights. You will align data architecture with business needs, ensure consistency with enterprise data practices, and drive data governance, data quality, and metadata management initiatives.
Key responsibilities include partnering with data owners and engineers to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models; building robust ETL/ELT pipelines and data pipelines, and implementing data quality rules and lineage tracking. You will evaluate technologies, establish data security and access controls, and guide implementation across on-premises and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). You will also mentor teams and communicate complex data concepts to stakeholders with clarity.

Responsibility
- Define and enforce data architecture standards across the enterprise, ensuring consistency and reusability.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data models, data dictionaries, and data flows that support reporting and analytics.
- Design and maintain data integration pipelines (ETL/ELT), data warehouses, data lakes, and data stores with performance and scalability in mind.
- Partner with data governance, security, and compliance teams to implement data quality, privacy, and metadata management programs.
- Evaluate and select data technologies and tools; drive selection criteria, proof-of-concepts, and architectural decisions.
- Define data lineage, cataloging, access controls, and security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders; communicate architecture decisions clearly.
- Mentor junior team members and establish best practices for data modeling, documentation, and operational excellence.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; master's preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or equivalent roles.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) and data warehousing concepts; SQL expertise.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data services; familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Apache Airflow, Informatica, Talend).
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, and PDPA/privacy compliance.
- Experience with data security, access controls, encryption, and secure data sharing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and influence stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect are a plus.
