Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Implement and manage data storage solutions to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Optimize data pipelines for efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business value.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline errors or bottlenecks.
- Establish and enforce data governance and security best practices.
- Document processes, workflows, and data flows to ensure clarity and transparency.
- Stay current with industry trends and advocate for best-in-class data engineering practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's is a plus).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
