Origo is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with hands-on Snowflake experience to join our dynamic data team in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga. This role will be instrumental in turning raw data into strategic insights that guide product development, customer experience, marketing strategies, and operational decisions. You will collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to design, deploy, and maintain scalable data solutions that empower data-driven decision making across the organization.

Responsibility
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and cloud technologies to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions and analytic models.
- Develop and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover opportunities, trends, and anomalies; create predictive models and segmentations.
- Implement data quality checks, data governance, and documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytics assets.
- Monitor, profile, and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in Snowflake.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership, supporting strategic decision-making and measurable business outcomes.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Masterâs preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on data science experience with strong Snowflake expertise.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, scikit-learn); experience with Snowflake data loading, Snowpipe, and UDFs is a plus.
- Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, A/B testing, and evaluation of model performance.
- Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data governance, and data quality best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
