Weâre seeking a diligent Development Coordinator to advance our fundraising initiatives and tell our story with clarity and passion.
In this full-time role based in Chicago, youâll work closely with the Development team to diversify revenue streams, manage donor relations, and steward partnerships that accelerate our mission.

Responsibility
- Build and manage a robust donor pipeline across individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate fundraising campaigns and events to meet annual targets.
- Support grant research, writing, and reporting processes for foundation and government funders.
- Maintain and analyze donor data in our CRM; generate reports to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with Programs team to articulate impact and compelling storytelling.
- Lead donor stewardship, recognition programs, and timely communications.
- Coordinate cultivation activities, donor meetings, and special events to deepen engagement.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, or related field.
- 2â4 years fundraising or development experience in the nonprofit sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong storytelling and editing skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Raiserâs Edge, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud) and MS Office; basic data analysis.
- Event planning experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong collaborative and cross-functional partnership skills; self-motivated and organized.
