Northwest Community Aid is seeking a missionâdriven Development Manager to lead fundraising initiatives and donor relations for our Seattle programs. You will work with the leadership team to design and execute annual giving, grants, events, and campaigns that advance our mission to support vulnerable communities.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement annual fundraising plan with measurable goals across major gifts, grants, events, and digital campaigns.
- Manage donor stewardship, communication timelines, and CRM records to maximize donor retention and upgrade opportunities.
- Lead proposal writing and grant applications to foundations, corporations, and government partners.
- Plan and execute compelling fundraising events and virtual campaigns that engage volunteers and donors.
- Collaborate with program teams to align fundraising with program outcomes and impact reporting.
- Oversee budget forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics for fundraising initiatives.
- Coach and supervise the development team or volunteers, fostering professional growth and excellence.
- Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities to raise visibility.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in nonprofit management, marketing, communications, or related field; masterâs preferred.
- 3+ years of nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, or development experience; proven track record of securing gifts.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to tell compelling stories with data.
- Experience with donor CRM systems (eg, Salesforce Nonprofit) and dataâdriven decision making.
- Strong project management, planning, and multitasking abilities; detailâoriented and deadlineâdriven.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in outreach and programming.
- Ability to work in the Seattle area; occasional travel to partner sites as needed.
- Strong collaboration and relationshipâbuilding skills with staff, board, volunteers, and funders.
