We’re seeking a proactive Development Coordinator to join our growing team and help expand our donor base, rigorous reporting, and sustainability initiatives. As part of a collaborative Development Team, you’ll manage donor communications, assist with grant development, coordinate events, and contribute to data-driven strategies that propel our mission forward. Location: Boston, MA. This is a full-time on-site role with some flexibility for occasional remote work, depending on project needs.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the Development Director to meet annual revenue goals.
- Maintain accurate donor records, memberships, and gift processing in the CRM; generate timely thank-you communications.
- Support grant research, proposal writing, and reporting to funders; assist with foundation prospecting and stewardship.
- Plan and coordinate donor events, cultivations activities, and volunteer engagement opportunities.
- Analyze fundraising metrics, prepare monthly performance reports, and present insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Programs teams to align messaging and impact storytelling.
- Assist with annual giving programs, including mid-level giving and donor stewardship programs.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, fundraising, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development roles.
- Experience with donor management systems (CRM) and data analytics; proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Event planning and donor stewardship experience preferred.
- Knowledge of grant writing basics and reporting is a plus.
