Responsibility
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan to meet annual revenue goals across individual giving, major gifts, grants, and events.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective donors, foundations, and corporate partners to secure sustained support.
- Lead the grant proposal development process, including researching opportunities, drafting compelling narratives, and reporting on outcomes.
- Collaborate with program leaders to translate impact data into compelling fundraising narratives and case for support.
- Oversee donor communications, annual giving campaigns, and major gifts program, including donor recognition and stewardship strategies.
- Manage the annual fundraising budget, pipeline forecasting, and performance analytics to inform strategy and improve results.
- Build and supervise a high-performing development team, including setting goals, coaching, and creating professional growth opportunities.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience with a track record of securing major gifts and grants.
- Strong grant-writing skills and experience with foundations, corporations, and government donors.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinker with data-driven approach and proficiency using donor management systems (CRM) and fundraising analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize with limited resources, and work collaboratively across teams.
