WRN Health Incorporated is seeking a compassionate, highly skilled Dialysis Nurse to join our patient-centered care team in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur. In this role, you will deliver high-quality dialysis treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with nephrology specialists to optimize outcomes.
You will be responsible for setting up and operating dialysis machines, ensuring water treatment quality, maintaining sterile technique, and documenting treatments and responses with precision. Your attentive approach will help patients stay comfortable, informed, and safe during their sessions.
As a valued member of our nursing team, you will participate in multidisciplinary rounds, contribute to safety protocols, and provide guidance and education to patients and families about dialysis care, diet, and infection prevention. Responsibility
- Deliver prescribed dialysis treatments (HD/PD) with careful monitoring of patient condition, treatment parameters, and machine function.
- Prepare and operate dialysis apparatus, ensure water quality and sanitization, adhere to infection control practices.
- Assess patients pre-, during-, and post-dialysis, including vital signs and symptom checks, and respond to alarms.
- Document treatments, medications, and patient responses accurately in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, nurses, and support staff to tailor treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and safety protocols.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualification
- Current Philippine nursing license (RN) and eligibility to practice in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience; dialysis or nephrology exposure strongly preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Additional certifications such as ACLS are a plus.
- Strong patient-care orientation with excellent communication and empathy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, clinical environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of dialysis equipment and sterile technique; familiarity with infection control standards.
- Proficiency with medical documentation and basic computer skills; willingness to learn hospital information systems.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
