The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) is seeking a proactive Dietetic Technician for a 1-year contract to support nutrition care, education, and kidney health initiatives in Singapore's Central Region. This role is essential for delivering high-quality dietetic services, coordinating healthcare programmes, events and research activities that drive improved patient outcomes and stakeholder engagement.

In this role, you will work under supervision to assist with nutrition assessments, care planning, and education for patients with kidney-related conditions. You will help plan and execute healthcare programmes, coordinate conferences and workshops, and support research data collection and program evaluation. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure nutrition interventions are evidence-based, culturally appropriate, and aligned with clinical guidelines. You will also assist with logistics, scheduling, and communication with patients, caregivers, clinicians, and external partners.

Responsibility

  • Assist with nutrition screening, assessment support, and documentation under supervision.

  • Ensure compliance with patient privacy, safety, and NKF policies.

Qualification

  • Diploma in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; clinical nutrition experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in dietetic services, preferably in a hospital or community health setting.
  • Knowledge of kidney disease nutrition guidelines and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, basic data entry, and reporting; experience with health databases is a plus.
  • Willingness to work on a 1-year contract and in Singapore's Central Region; ability to travel for events as needed.
  • Certification in food safety or dietetic practice is advantageous.
