Beacon Hope Foundation is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved communities through education, opportunity, and advocacy. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Development to lead our fundraising program and broaden our impact.
In this leadership role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive development plan, oversee annual giving, major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships, and steward a diverse donor network. The ideal candidate is a data-driven communicator with a proven track record of exceeding fundraising goals in a nonprofit setting, exceptional writing and relationship-building skills, and a passion for social change.
What you will experience:
- Strategic leadership of the nonprofit's fundraising efforts and revenue growth.

Responsibility
- Lead development strategy and annual fundraising plan to meet revenue goals.
- Manage donor relations, stewardship programs, and communications to ensure continued support.
- Oversee grants processes including research, proposal development, and reporting to funders.
- Grow major gifts program and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth donors.
- Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns that advance mission and visibility.
- Collaborate with program teams to articulate impact and craft compelling narratives.
- Ensure data integrity, reporting, and compliance through CRM systems and internal controls.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector; leadership experience a plus.
- Proven track record in securing major gifts and grants.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; compelling storytelling abilities.
- Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, DonorPerfect) and data-driven fundraising.
- Strong project management, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel for donor meetings and events as needed.
