Role overview: As the Director of Sales & Marketing for PARKROYAL Collection Chinatown, you will lead a high-performing team to drive revenue, elevate brand presence, and position the hotel as the preferred choice for corporate, MICE and leisure guests in Singapore. This is a strategic leadership role at a premier hospitality brand known for vibrant design, sustainable practices, and guest-centric service. You will shape and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the property’s business goals and the PARKROYAL Collection portfolio.
In this role, you will forge strategic partnerships with corporations, travel management companies, event organizers, and tourism boards; develop integrated campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels; and optimize distribution through direct sales, RFPs, and key account management. You will work closely with Revenue Management, Operations, and Marketing to ensure pricing, inventory, and guest experiences translate market demand into measurable revenue growth and elevated guest satisfaction.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute the property's annual sales and marketing plan to maximize revenue and market share across corporate, MICE, and leisure segments.
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team, establishing clear KPIs, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Forge and manage strategic partnerships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event organizers, and tourism boards.
- Drive revenue growth through multi-channel campaigns, direct sales, RFP responses, and targeted digital marketing.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, F&B, and Events teams to optimize pricing, inventory, and event execution.
- Shape brand positioning and oversee communications, digital presence, social media, PR, and loyalty initiatives.
- Plan and execute high-profile events, meetings, incentive programs, and leisure promotions to maximize occupancy and ADR.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, guest insights, and macro factors to continually refine strategy.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive sales and marketing leadership in luxury or upscale hospitality.
- Proven track record of revenue growth and market share expansion in Singapore or regional markets.
- Strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and event planners; excellent network in Singapore's business community.
- Strategic thinker with data-driven decision making; proficiency in CRM, PMS, CRS, GDS, and digital advertising tools.
- Outstanding leadership, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and P&L management.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
