Capital Dynamics is seeking an ambitious e-Business Developer to join our Kuala Lumpur team. This role blends business development with web technologies to accelerate online growth, improve customer experiences, and increase digital revenue. You will translate market insights into scalable digital solutions, partner with internal leaders and external vendors, and champion data-driven decision making.
In this role, you will own the strategy and execution of digital initiatives across web platforms, mobile apps, and e-commerce channels. You will identify new opportunities, cultivate and maintain partnerships with merchants and technology providers, and ensure seamless integration of online capabilities with back-end systems. Your work will involve close collaboration with marketing, product, and engineering to define roadmaps, set KPIs, and deliver measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate has a strong blend of business acumen and technical literacy, comfortable with analytics tools, API integrations, and modern web technologies. You will be comfortable presenting to stakeholders, preparing compelling business cases, and steering projects from concept to launch. Responsibility
- Develop and execute e-commerce and digital-channel strategies to grow online revenue and user engagement.
- Identify, assess, and secure digital partnerships, integrations, and platform opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital commerce initiatives, including requirements gathering, project timelines, and budgeting.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams to optimize online funnels and improve customer journeys across web and mobile.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to inform decisions, and prepare ROI analyses and reports for stakeholders.
- Manage proposals, pitches, and relationship-building with merchants, vendors, and technology partners.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements; monitor performance and optimize accordingly.
- Stay ahead of industry trends to continuously enhance digital capabilities and competitive differentiators.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, business development, or digital platforms (Malaysia preferred).
- Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and modern digital platforms; familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.
- Analytical mindset with experience in data analytics tools and ability to translate insights into actions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; adept at stakeholder management.
- Project management experience; ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
