Responsibility
- Receive, screen, and prioritize emergency calls; collect essential information quickly and accurately.
- Dispatch and coordinate appropriate resources (EMS, police, fire, and other responders) to incidents in real time.
- Monitor unit status and location using dispatch software; maintain real-time situation awareness for all ongoing incidents.
- Document all communications, actions, and outcomes with precise incident logging and reporting.
- Collaborate with healthcare facilities, local authorities, and transportation partners to facilitate patient transfers and care coordination.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, privacy laws, and data security policies.
- Provide after-action notes and contribute to performance improvement initiatives and shift handovers.
- Assist with ongoing training, quality assurance, and new-hire onboarding to maintain high dispatch standards.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or coursework in emergency communications are a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in emergency dispatch, call center operations, or healthcare coordination preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Filipino is highly beneficial.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, multitask, and make rapid, sound decisions in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems, incident management software, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail; strong organizational skills.
- Team-oriented, reliable, with a customer-service mindset and a commitment to public safety.
- Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
