LINACO is hiring an ERP Strategist with Power BI expertise to join our team in Shah Alam, Malaysia. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver scalable Power BI solutions that align with our ERP-driven business processes and data flows. You will translate complex requirements into high-impact analytics, build robust data models, and ensure timely delivery within project timelines.
You will collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT, and ERP specialists to map data sources, design end-to-end data pipelines, and implement governance and security standards. Working with ERP data from systems such as SAP or Oracle alongside other sources, you will create interactive dashboards that reveal critical KPIs, trends, and operational insights. You will optimize Power BI reports for performance, implement advanced DAX calculations, and craft self-serve analytics that empower business users while maintaining data quality and governance.
As an ERP Strategist, you will contribute to the BI roadmap, evaluate new tools and methodologies, and mentor junior analysts. You will articulate complex analytics concepts to non-technical stakeholders and partner with IT to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance across the BI ecosystem. Responsibility
- Translate business requirements into scalable Power BI solutions integrated with ERP data (SAP/Oracle) and other data sources.
- Design and optimize data models (star/snowflake schemas), create advanced DAX measures, and implement robust ETL pipelines.
- Build, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards for finance, operations, sales, and supply chain.
- Collaborate with ERP and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, governance, security, and performance; establish data quality checks.
- Define BI strategy and roadmap; drive modernization of reporting and self-serve analytics; monitor KPIs.
- Provide training and ongoing support to business users; collect feedback and iterate on solutions.
- Mentor junior analysts and participate in project planning and stakeholder communications.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development with ERP data integration (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in DAX, data modeling (star/snowflake), SQL, and M language for Power Query.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data governance, and security best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Power BI certification or ERP integration experience is highly valued.
