Responsibility
- Lead kitchen operations for a high-volume fine-dining restaurant, ensuring excellence in flavor, texture, and plating.
- Develop seasonal menus aligned with concept and brand identity.
- Mentor, recruit, and empower culinary team; conduct regular skill development.
- Manage food cost, portion control, and waste reduction to drive profitability.
- Ensure HACCP, ServSafe, and sanitation standards; maintain clean, organized kitchen.
- Collaborate with pastry and beverage teams to craft cohesive tasting menus and beverage pairings.
- Oversee inventory, supplier relationships, and timely ordering.
- Champion guest experience by upholding consistency during service.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field; advanced certification (e.g., CEC) preferred.
- 7+ years of leadership in fine dining or luxury restaurants; Michelin-level experience preferred.
- Proven track record in menu development, recipe costing, and cost control.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills; ability to inspire a diverse team.
- Deep knowledge of contemporary techniques, global cuisines, and plating artistry.
- HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent certifications; strong sanitation practices.
- Strong vendor relations, inventory management, and procurement experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with scheduling flexibility.
