Responsibility
- Lead menu development and seasonal menus that showcase creativity and regional sourcing.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, station management, and daily prep to ensure smooth service.
- Manage food cost, inventory, portion control, and waste reduction with data-driven reporting.
- Ensure HACCP, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across all stations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor cooks and sous chefs to build a high-performance team.
- Maintain exceptional quality, plating, and consistency to deliver a superior guest experience.
- Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to optimize service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Champion sustainable practices, vendor relationships, and seasonal menus.
Qualification
- Minimum 8–12 years of progressive culinary leadership experience, preferably in fine dining or innovative cuisine.
- Proven track record developing menus, managing costs, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Formal culinary education or equivalent professional certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills with the ability to inspire teams.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
