Google is seeking an accomplished Export Intelligence and AI Lead to join the International Growth Team in Singapore. In this senior role, you will fuse advanced artificial intelligence capabilities with market insights to craft scalable growth strategies that expand Google’s presence across APAC. You will transform data into decisive actions, unlock new opportunities through responsible AI, and shape how Google leverages cutting-edge technologies to drive international expansion.
You will partner with product, engineering, sales, and marketing to scale AI led initiatives across multiple APAC markets. As a senior leader, you will mentor regional teams, build trusted relationships with stakeholders, and demonstrate measurable impact on adoption, revenue, and operational efficiency. This role demands a cross-functional leader who can navigate complexity, balance strategic vision with execution, and influence at the highest levels of the organization.
Responsibility
- Lead cross-APAC growth strategy for AI powered products and services by coordinating regional teams across product, data science, sales, and marketing.
- Define and drive data transformation programs to unlock actionable insights and accelerate decision making.
- Architect and scale AI led initiatives, from experimentation to production, across multiple APAC markets.
- Partner with product, engineering, and marketing to align roadmaps with customer needs and regional regulations.
- Build and manage a high performing team of data scientists, analysts, and growth professionals; mentor and develop talent.
- Establish governance for data quality, privacy, and responsible AI practices in international expansion.
- Define metrics, dashboards, and OKRs; monitor performance, generate impact reports, and iterate.
- Collaborate with external partners and customers to inform product strategy and create differentiated value propositions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science, data science, AI, engineering, economics or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in AI, data analytics, growth or related field; 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record leading international growth initiatives, preferably in APAC; experience with major cloud platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and ability to translate technical concepts into business impact.
- Hands-on experience with data platforms, SQL, Python, cloud services (GCP/AWS/Azure), and modern analytics tools; data storytelling.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, cross-border data transfer, and governance frameworks.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English; additional APAC languages are a plus.
