We are seeking a seasoned Finance, Accounting and Tax Manager to lead our financial operations in Indonesia and to partner with senior leadership to drive sustainable growth. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decisions, optimize financial governance, and build a high-performance finance function in a fast-moving tech environment.
Based in Jakarta Raya, you will oversee end-to-end financial management, accounting, and tax functions for our Indonesian entity, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting. You will partner with cross-functional teams across operations, sales, and product to improve profitability, control costs, and support expansion plans. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, a hands-on approach to process improvement, and a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
Key responsibilities include managing monthly closes, statutory reporting, tax filings, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, and audit coordination. You will maintain robust internal controls, optimize finance operations, oversee payroll and vendor payments, and collaborate with external auditors to ensure audit readiness. You will also mentor junior team members, drive the adoption of digital tools and automations to improve data accuracy and efficiency, and ensure compliance with local regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax and withholding tax. The ideal candidate combines integrity with strategic thinking and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable business decisions that support Terra Drone’s ambitious roadmap.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end finance, accounting, and tax operations for Terra Drone's Indonesian entity, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and statutory filings with timely delivery and quality controls.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Ensure robust tax compliance (CIT, VAT, WHT) and proactive tax planning.
- Maintain strong internal controls and drive process improvements to safeguard assets and improve efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, treasury activities, banking relationships, and vendor/payroll processes.
- Coordinate with external auditors, respond to audit inquiries, and implement recommendations.
- Partner with leadership to deliver financial insights, profitability analysis, and strategic business support.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CA/CPA/ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and tax, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and statutory reporting requirements; IFRS/IFRS experience is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (eg, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; Bahasa Indonesia fluency preferred.
