Job description

World Vision is seeking a dedicated Finance Analyst to join VisionFund International in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. The role focuses on consolidating financial data, ensuring accuracy, and producing insightful reports that support decision-making, budgeting, and financial management across programs. You will partner with program teams, donors, and leadership to enhance financial stewardship and transparency while complying with donor requirements and internal controls. As the Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in turning data into actionable insights, strengthening forecasting, and supporting sustainable program growth.

Responsibility

  • Consolidate and reconcile financial data from multiple sources to produce accurate monthly close, variance analyses, and cash flow reporting.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, dashboards, and donor reports to program managers and senior leadership.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year financial planning across VisionFund programs.
  • Monitor expenditures by cost center and program, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with donor requirements, World Vision policies, and applicable accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with program teams to provide financial insights that inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.
  • Assist with audit preparation, documentation, and continuous process improvements to strengthen financial governance.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA or equivalent) is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in accounting, FP&A, or NGO finance; nonprofit sector experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP or donor management systems; ability to learn quickly.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines; comfortable working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate financial information for non-financial audiences.
  • Familiarity with Philippine accounting standards and donor compliance considerations; knowledge of tax and regulatory requirements is a plus.
