Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports for leadership.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting processes, and forecasting to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and tax regulations; coordinate external audits.
- Maintain robust internal controls and assist with audit readiness and risk management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning, cost control, and process improvements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia's financial reporting standards and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and financial software.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
