Your day to day will include coordinating with accounting, procurement, operations, and site teams to manage the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting and forecasting, and cash flow management. You will prepare monthly management reports, assist with year end close, and support external audits. You will also contribute to strengthening internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and streamlining financial processes with ERP systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibility
- Manage daily financial operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations for construction projects
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements, management reports, and project specific financial performance
- Monitor project budgets, perform variance analysis, and support cost controls to protect margin
- Manage cash flow forecasting, funding requests, and vendor payment processing
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and statutory requirements; coordinate internal and external audits
- Maintain fixed asset register, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking
- Collaborate with project teams for cost tracking, procurement, and subcontractor invoicing
- Support year end closing and liaise with external auditors
Qualification
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA is a plus
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, construction sector preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance in Singapore; familiarity with GST/VAT
- Proficiency with ERP systems (eg SAP, Oracle, Sage) and advanced MS Excel
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail; strong problem solving and forecasting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross functionally
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
