Private Advertiser is seeking a proactive Finance Executive to join our finance team on a term contract in Singapore. This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting and financial management activities within a dynamic organization, providing a platform to contribute to the business strategy and operation of a growing company.
As a Finance Executive, you will partner with cross functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and timely insights for decision making. In addition to day to day accounting, you will support financial analysis, process improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will work with our management team to monitor cash flow, support audits, and drive efficiency across the finance function. This is a hands on opportunity with visibility to senior stakeholders and potential for future permanent opportunities.
Responsibility
- Manage day to day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and variance analyses for senior management
- Coordinate month end close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities with actionable insights
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and statutory requirements
- Support external and internal audits, and collaborate with auditors as needed
- Review cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and assist treasury activities
- Identify process improvements and assist in ERP system optimization
Qualification
- Degree in Finance or Accounting; professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA are preferred
- 2 to 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to month end close and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and statutory filings in Singapore
- Proficiency with ERP systems (eg SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, communication and teamwork abilities with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work autonomously in a contract setting
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and maintain confidentiality
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships and a drive to grow may be considered for the junior path
