Join CACEIS, a premier global financial services provider, as a Finance Manager on a 12-month contract in Putrajaya, Malaysia. In this position you will partner with senior management to drive accurate financial planning, consolidated reporting, and robust internal controls. You will own the monthly close process, coordinate the annual budget, and oversee forecasting cycles to support strategic decision making and performance management.
Key responsibilities include ensuring IFRS and GAAP compliance, managing working capital, and maintaining compliance with statutory reporting. You will lead process improvements within the finance function and help implement SAP or Oracle ERP enhancements to strengthen data integrity and efficiency.
This role requires excellent communication with stakeholders, a proactive mindset, and the ability to adapt to a fast paced, contract environment. You will collaborate with cross functional teams across the business to deliver timely insights and drive business value.
Candidates with a strong track record in financial services or multinational corporations, and professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA, are encouraged to apply.
Responsibility
- Lead the monthly close, consolidation, and preparation of management reports with accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and own financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing insights to optimize performance.
- Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, intercompany reconciliations, and controls to ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance.
- Partner with business leaders to analyze results, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision making.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely statutory reporting and audit readiness.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements (ERP SAP/Oracle), automate routine tasks, and strengthen internal controls.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning, monitoring variances and implementing corrective actions.
Qualification
- Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in finance leadership, preferably in financial services or multinational corporations.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP, statutory reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel; familiarity with data analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities; able to influence at senior levels.
- Ability to operate in a fast paced, contract environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Malay is a plus.
