Harborstone Capital is seeking a results-driven Finance Manager to lead our financial planning and management initiatives in a fast-paced investment environment. You will partner with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making through rigorous analysis, robust controls, and scalable processes.
In this role, you’ll own the financial planning cycle, oversee consolidated reporting, manage working capital, and ensure compliance with GAAP while partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize profitability and stewardship of capital.

Responsibility
- Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial planning aligned with corporate strategy.
- Own monthly close processes, financial consolidation, variance analysis, and management reporting for executive stakeholders.
- Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and working capital optimization to support growth initiatives.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models, scenarios, and KPI dashboards for decision support.
- Implement and improve internal controls, policy governance, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with treasury, tax, and audit teams to ensure accurate financial statements and timely audits.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, coaching and developing talent to raise performance and efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, and financial reporting; experience in asset management or investment firms a plus.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite).
- Demonstrated ability to translate numbers into actionable insights for executives.
- Excellent knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
