Nova Financial Group is a premier firm specializing in strategic financial management and advisory services for global clients. We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to join our high-performing team in New York City.
As part of our FP&A leadership, you will collaborate with executives to drive profitability, optimize capital allocation, and deliver accurate financial insights that inform critical business decisions. This role combines analytical rigor with strategic partnership across functions.
Responsibility
- Own the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support quarterly re-forecasts, scenario analysis, and investment appraisals.
- Coordinate monthly close activities, consolidate results, and prepare management-level dashboards for leadership.
- Provide variance analysis and actionable insights to improve profitability and cash flow.
- Partner with operations, sales, and product teams to define key performance indicators and drive performance improvements.
- Lead process improvements in FP&A, finance controls, and reporting to support scalable growth.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements; support internal and external auditors as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting roles.
- Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and financial consolidation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and partner with cross-functional teams at a senior level.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with a data-driven mindset.
