Join Apex Capital Advisors, a premier financial management firm in New York City. We are seeking a strategic Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will partner with executives to drive performance, optimize cash flow, and strengthen governance.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business plans into robust financial models, own the monthly close calendar, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
What you will do:
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Own monthly and quarterly close, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Develop and maintain scalable financial models to support business decisions.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize capital allocation.
- Partner with FP&A, accounting, and business leaders to drive performance insights.
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Mentor junior finance staff and promote a data-driven decision culture.
Responsibility

Qualification
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA optional. CPA/CFA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning/analysis or corporate finance.
- Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling in ERP environments (eg, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; leadership experience a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
