We are seeking a strategic Finance Manager to join a fast-growing firm in New York City. You will lead planning, analysis, and financial operations that enable scalable growth and informed decision making.
In this role you will partner with executive leadership to shape the company\'s financial strategy, drive performance, and ensure robust controls and compliance.
Responsibility
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the organization.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision making.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity; manage treasury activities.
- Provide timely management reporting and stakeholder communications with actionable insights.
- Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and internal controls; lead audit coordination.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Accounting, Operations, and IT to drive performance.
- Mentor and develop junior finance staff and promote a high-performance culture.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Strong technical skills in ERP systems, financial planning tools, and advanced Excel; experience with SQL or Python a plus.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights and communicate to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and project-management capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of GAAP, compliance, and internal controls.
