Job description

SummitBridge Financial is seeking a strategic Financial Manager to lead planning, analytics, and decision support for a fast-growing portfolio in the New York metro area. This high-visibility role reports to the VP of Finance and partners with cross-functional leadership to drive profitable growth and financial discipline.

In this role you will own the financial planning cycle, develop rolling forecasts, monitor performance against targets, and provide actionable insights to executive leadership. The ideal candidate blends strong technical accounting and finance knowledge with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Responsibility

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning for multiple business units.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models, scenario analyses, and KPI dashboards to drive decision-making.
  • Produce timely, accurate management reports and present insights to the executive team and board as needed.
  • Partner with operations, sales, and product teams to optimize working capital, cash flow, and cost structure.
  • Oversee month-end close coordination with accounting, ensure data integrity, and enforce internal controls and GAAP compliance.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements and automation using ERP and analytics tools (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Tableau/Power BI).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team; drive a high-performance culture centered on accountability and collaboration.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
  • 5+ years of FP&A, financial planning, or corporate finance experience; exposure to fast-growth environments.
  • Strong modeling and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software (ERP such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities; proven track record of cross-functional partnership.
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, risk management, internal controls, and audit coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
