Join Meng Kah Auto Parts Trading as our Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the company\'s financial strategy as we accelerate international expansion across Asia and Europe. You will own the FP&A lifecycle, from budgeting and forecasting processes to long-range planning, delivering clear, data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions at the executive level. This leadership role requires strong analytical rigor, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex metrics into actionable plans that drive sustainable growth. You will partner with senior management to set performance targets, monitor variances, and implement corrective actions to safeguard financial health while supporting ambitious growth objectives.
As the FPA Manager, you will lead cross-functional planning efforts, design robust financial models, and deliver timely, accurate management reporting. You will drive scenario analysis for market expansion, evaluate profitability by product line and region, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize capital allocation and operating performance. You will also oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and capital expenditure assessments, ensuring processes scale with the business. A strong communicator and collaborator, you will influence decision-making at the C-suite level and strengthen financial controls and governance as the company scales across multiple markets. Responsibility
- Lead the FP&A function for the business, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and management reporting to support decision making across Asia and Europe.
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and working capital across markets.
- Produce monthly and quarterly management reports and KPI dashboards with actionable insights for executives.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to analyze profitability by product line, region, and customer segment; provide scenario analysis for expansion decisions.
- Lead capital expenditure evaluations, investment appraisals, and post-implementation reviews to optimize CAPEX.
- Drive process improvements, standardize planning processes, and ensure data integrity across ERP/BI platforms.
- Support consolidation and group reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with auditors as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CFA is a plus.
- 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in multinational or growth-oriented companies.
- Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and data analytics skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, SQL; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities; comfortable presenting to C-level executives.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards/regulations; familiarity with IFRS or local GAAP is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across cultures; willingness to travel as needed.
