Pulse Fitness Group is seeking a highly motivated Fitness Coach to join our premium studio in Los Angeles, CA. This role combines personal training, group coaching, and community-building to help members achieve lasting results. About the role: you will design evidence-based training plans, coach clients one-on-one and in groups, monitor progress, and support member retention through exceptional service.
Responsibility
- Design and deliver personalized training programs for clients across various fitness levels, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed.
- Lead engaging group fitness classes (HIIT, strength, mobility) with a focus on safety and effective technique.
- Conduct initial assessments, set measurable goals, and regularly review client progress to ensure meaningful results.
- Provide exemplary customer service, build strong client relationships, and contribute to retention and referrals.
- Collaborate with nutritionists and wellness staff to deliver holistic programs that support overall health.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized studio; ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Promote studio services and memberships in a compliant, client-focused manner to support revenue goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and certifications; participate in ongoing professional development and internal trainings.
Qualification
- Certified Personal Trainer through ACE, NASM, ACSM, or equivalent credential.
- Minimum 2 years of professional fitness coaching experience, with experience leading group classes.
- Proven ability to design personalized programs and motivate clients of diverse backgrounds.
- CPR/AED certification (or higher) and first aid knowledge.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills; strong time-management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends; reliable transportation to the studio.
- Knowledge of nutrition basics and ability to provide general guidance, or willingness to collaborate with a nutritionist.
