Responsibility
- Assist the Food & Beverage team with daily service operations, including guest welcome, table setup, order coordination, and ensuring a smooth service flow.
- Support banquet and events teams with setup, service, and post-event breakdown to deliver exceptional function experiences.
- Learn and apply Marriott F&B standards for food handling, safety, hygiene, alignment with brand service guidelines, and proper beverage service.
- Shadow supervisors to gain knowledge of menu items, wine and beverage pairings, and upselling opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Help manage inventory, receive deliveries, and organize F&B outlets for efficient service.
- Assist with guest inquiries, take orders, communicate with kitchen and bar teams, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in routine quality checks, cleaning schedules, and station maintenance to uphold cleanliness and safety.
- Engage in cross-functional training across outlets and seasonal promotions to broaden hospitality skills.
Qualification
- Currently enrolled in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related program; open to undergraduates and graduates awaiting placement.
- Passion for guest service, positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and adapt to Marriott standards and operating procedures.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Filipino are advantageous.
- Availability to commit to the internship duration (typically 3-6 months) and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Authorized to work in the Philippines or eligible for internship-based programs.
