PulsePeak Digital is seeking a seasoned Freelance SEO Specialist to join our remote-first team. You will work on diverse client projects across ecommerce, SaaS, and local businesses. This contract role offers flexible hours, a steady pipeline of work, and the freedom to choose your schedule.
As a key contributor to our growth, you’ll develop and execute data-driven SEO strategies, collaborate with content and development teams, and deliver measurable results for clients worldwide.
What you’ll do: manage multiple client engagements, maintain high quality standards, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and create actionable roadmaps for client sites.
- Develop and implement on-page optimization strategies, including content alignment and metadata optimization.
- Perform keyword research, cluster analysis, and map opportunities to content plans.
- Lead technical SEO improvements (crawlability, indexing, site speed, structured data).
- Build and manage high-quality backlink campaigns through outreach and partnerships.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics; translate data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage multiple client projects, deliver on deadlines, and maintain excellent client relationships.
Qualification
- 3+ years of proven SEO experience with demonstrated results across diverse niches.
- Strong knowledge of Google algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Search Console).
- Experience with technical SEO, site architecture, crawl budgets, and data-driven optimization.
- Proven track record of successful link-building and outreach strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong project management and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Joomla) and basic HTML/CSS; ability to work with developers.
- Ability to work remotely with reliable internet and flexible time zones; available for client calls as needed.
