StaffKing Pte Ltd is seeking a Global NPI Quality Director for our semiconductor equipment division. This executive role leads global quality strategy for new product introductions, ensuring flawless execution from design to ramp and mass production. The ideal candidate combines a strong quality leadership track record with deep expertise in semiconductor equipment, NPI processes, and supplier quality management. This position requires frequent travel and may involve stationing overseas to support global program teams and customers.
In this role you will own the quality strategy for all new products, drive robust APQP and DFM/DFT activities, lead cross functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and services, and ensure conformance to applicable standards and customer requirements. You will implement rigorous quality planning, risk assessment, traceability, and surveillance programs, including FMEA, SPC, CAPA, and internal audits. You will partner with R&D and manufacturing to scale product launches, reduce time to market, and optimize yield and reliability across regions.
Key responsibilities include establishing quality metrics and dashboards, leading supplier quality programs, conducting leadership reviews with executive teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations. This role requires strategic thinking, hands on problem solving, and a proven ability to influence without authority across global teams. A strong customer focus and the ability to communicate complex quality risks clearly to executive stakeholders are essential.

Responsibility
- Lead global NPI quality strategy for semiconductor equipment from concept to production ramp, ensuring design for quality and reliability.
- Define and implement APQP, DFMEA, control plans, and validation activities for all new products.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to drive on time product launches and meet quality targets.
- Establish and monitor quality metrics, dashboards, and executive level KPIs to guide decision making.
- Drive supplier quality management across global suppliers, including audits, supplier development, and CAPA programs.
- Lead internal quality processes such as FMEA, SPC, nonconformance management, containment, and corrective action closure.
- Partner with cross functional teams to resolve field issue feedback and implement continuous improvement activities across regions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of quality leadership experience in high tech manufacturing or semiconductor equipment, including NPI.
- Proven track record of leading global quality programs and supplier quality initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of APQP, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, and quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to overseas assignments when required.
- Experience with customer audits, regulatory compliance, and data driven decision making.
