Job description
Join the Agency for Science, Technology and Research in its DxD Hub and contribute to cutting edge molecular diagnostics that improve patient care. As a Junior Scientist in the Molecular Diagnostics team, you will be part of a multidisciplinary group focused on the development and validation of innovative clinical tests. This role offers hands-on lab experience, opportunities to work with state of the art sequencing and amplification technologies, and the chance to see ideas evolve from concept to validated assays used in clinical settings.
You will collaborate with senior scientists, clinical partners, and regulatory specialists to translate scientific findings into robust, compliant diagnostic workflows. You will be encouraged to propose new approaches, learn data analysis, maintain meticulous documentation, and contribute to the publication and presentation of results. This is an excellent role for a motivated scientist who enjoys solving complex problems, has a strong grounding in molecular biology, and is eager to grow in a dynamic, mission-driven environment in Singapore.
What you will gain includes structured training, exposure to industry-grade validations, and the ability to influence real-world healthcare outcomes. You will join a supportive team that values collaborative problem solving, rigorous scientific thinking, and continuous learning.
