Responsibility
- Lead development of mathematical models and theoretical frameworks addressing complex enterprise problems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate theory into scalable algorithms and tools.
- Design and run experiments, validate models, and interpret results for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior researchers, provide technical leadership, and contribute to career development.
- Publish findings in journals or present at conferences; contribute to grant proposals and funding efforts.
- Assist with code quality, documentation, and reproducible research practices.
- Present insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field; or an outstanding MS with strong scholarly record.
- Strong background in areas such as algebra, topology, probability, statistics, or numerical analysis.
- Experience with machine learning, optimization, or data-driven modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, R, or Julia; familiarity with LaTeX for technical writing.
- Proven track record of research collaboration and publications; ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and translating theory into practical software prototypes.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
