Responsibility
- Provide patient-centered primary care to diverse patient groups within a structured GP clinic.
- Conduct comprehensive consultations for acute presentations and chronic disease management in adults and seniors.
- Coordinate preventive care, health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
- Develop and follow evidence-based treatment plans; adjust therapies as needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical records system and ensure data privacy and compliance.
- Collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, and admin staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and CPD activities to continuously enhance care delivery.
- Uphold clinical governance, infection control, and patient safety standards across all encounters.
Qualification
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid registration with the Malaysia Medical Council (MMC) and current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated experience in family medicine or general practice; strong clinical judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients and families.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and structured workflows; comfort with data-driven care.
