Responsibility
- Oversee and support the full spectrum of group consolidation activities and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all statutory reporting, tax filing, and regulatory compliance documents.
- Liaise with internal departments, external auditors, and relevant stakeholders on finance-related matters.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices in accounting systems and controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities for the group.
- Assist in ad-hoc finance projects and special assignments as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience in group finance, consolidation, or external audit, preferably within a large organization or audit firm.
- Solid understanding of MFRS, statutory reporting, and financial consolidation methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiar with accounting ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
- Self-driven, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
