Responsibility
- Provide a full range of hair services including cuts, color, styling, and treatments tailored to each client's needs.
- Consult with clients to determine desired results, lifestyle, and maintenance requirements to achieve a personalized look.
- Perform advanced color techniques such as balayage, highlights, and color corrections with precision and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized work station and uphold strict sanitation and safety standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and participate in ongoing education and salon events.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences, manage appointment flow, and upsell retouches and home-care products appropriately.
- Collaborate with senior stylists and assistants to ensure seamless service and salon operations.
Qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as a hairstylist in a salon setting.
- Current New York cosmetology license or required certification.
- Proficiency in cutting, coloring, balayage, foiling, and styling techniques.
- Excellent communication and client-relations skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation, safety, and sterilization practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with professional color lines (e.g., L’Oréal, Redken, Goldwell) is preferred.
