Join our premium makeup studio in the heart of Los Angeles. We are seeking a talented Senior Makeup Artist with a passion for artistry, skincare, and client experience. You will work with brides, editorial shoots, red carpet events, film and television productions, and commercial campaigns. You will be responsible for skin preparation, color matching, hygiene, and on-site touch-ups across multiple events per week. Responsibility
- Consult with clients to understand vision, skin type, and event requirements.
- Design and apply makeup looks for bridal, fashion, film, and on-camera productions.
- Ensure skin prep, color matching, blending, and long-wear techniques.
- Maintain sanitation standards and proper hygiene for all tools and surfaces.
- Manage makeup kit, products, and inventory; prepare travel-ready setups.
- Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and directors to achieve cohesive looks.
- Provide makeup trials, touch-ups, and on-site services with professionalism and timeliness.
- Mentor junior artists and share techniques to maintain studio standards.
Qualification
- 3+ years of professional makeup artistry across bridal, editorial, and on-camera work.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility in bridal, fashion, and beauty looks.
- Expertise in color theory, skin tones, and product knowledge across brands.
- Proficiency with sanitation protocols and working with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication, client service, and time-management skills.
- Flexible schedule including weekends/evenings; willingness to travel for shoots.
- Proficiency with makeup software or CRM/booking tools is a plus.
- Valid work authorization in the United States.
