Responsibility
- Provide expert cutting, styling, coloring, and finishing for a diverse client base with precision and artistry.
- Consult with clients to understand goals, assess hair type, and recommend personalized services and home care routines.
- Lead and mentor junior stylists, share techniques, and contribute to a collaborative salon atmosphere.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation and safety standards per state regulations.
- Build and maintain a premium client roster, deliver exceptional service, and drive repeat business.
- Upsell services and retail products to enhance client outcomes and salon revenue.
- Collaborate with the artistic team on editorial shoots and seasonal looks.
- Stay ahead of trends through ongoing education and trend forecasting.
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury salons or high-end boutique studios.
- Valid cosmetology license and professional liability insurance as required by state.
- Expertise in modern cutting techniques and color services including balayage, highlights, color correction, and corrective color.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating range of styles and clientele.
- Team leadership and mentoring abilities preferred.
