Responsibility
- Provide exceptional hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, highlighting, balayage, and chemical treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand goals, lifestyle, and maintenance needs; translate insights into tailored looks.
- Maintain top-tier sanitation and safety standards for tools, workstations, and salon environment.
- Educate clients on aftercare, product recommendations, and home maintenance to extend results.
- Stay current with industry trends; participate in ongoing training and product knowledge sessions.
- Manage appointment flow, upsell services and retail products respectfully to enhance client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a warm, high-end salon atmosphere and seamless guest experience.
- Document services, update client records, and uphold consistent quality across all appointments.
Qualification
- State cosmetology or hairstylist license valid for New York State.
- Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in a premium salon environment.
- Proficiency in balayage, color corrections, precision cuts, and styling for all hair textures.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills; ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation, sterilization, and safety protocols; commitment to cleanliness.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and peak hours; ability to work evenings as needed.
