Responsibility
- Provide expert hair cutting, coloring, styling, and treatment services tailored to each client’s goals.
- Conduct thorough consultations to understand client preferences, face shape, and lifestyle, then propose personalized styles.
- Maintain a pristine, sanitized workstation and uphold salon safety protocols.
- Build and retain a loyal client base through outstanding service, communication, and follow-up care.
- Stay current with trends, techniques, and product knowledge; participate in ongoing trainings.
- Collaborate with teammates on scheduling, retail recommendations, and in-salon events.
- Manage appointments efficiently and maintain accurate client records and aftercare plans.
- Upsell color services, treatments, and premium products to enhance client results and salon revenue.
Qualification
- New York State Cosmetology license in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of professional hairstyling experience in a salon or fashion setting.
- Proficiency in hair cutting, coloring, balayage, foiling, and styling for varied hair types.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by salon schedule.
- Strong sanitation and safety practices; knowledge of state regulations.
- Portfolio showcasing diverse techniques and styles; references available upon request.
