Responsibility
- Perform high-quality hair cutting, styling, color, and treatments tailored to each client’s goals
- Provide personalized consultations and educate clients on care and home maintenance
- Build a loyal client base through outstanding service and relationship management
- Maintain impeccable station cleanliness and adhere to sanitation standards
- Stay current with trends and participate in ongoing education and training
- Collaborate with team on services, events, and retail opportunities
- Schedule management, accurate record-keeping, and upholding salon policies
Qualification
- California Cosmetology license in good standing
- 2+ years of professional styling experience in a salon environment
- Proficiency in cutting techniques and color applications (balayage, highlights, color correction)
- Strong knowledge of hair care products and retail opportunities
- Excellent communication, listening, and client-service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Strong portfolio or prior work samples demonstrating versatility
