Responsibility
- Act as the primary subject matter expert on hardware asset management processes and ServiceNow HAM capabilities across the organization.
- Track, maintain, and report on all hardware inventory, ensuring life-cycle management and data accuracy in the asset management database.
- Coordinate hardware acquisitions, deployments, relocations, and disposals in compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to stakeholders on HAM best practices, procedures, and system usage.
- Identify opportunities to optimize asset utilization, reduce costs, and improve hardware asset performance.
- Collaborate with Procurement, IT Operations, Security, and Compliance teams for seamless end-to-end asset management.
- Generate detailed reports, analyze asset-related data, and deliver actionable insights to senior management.
- Assist in audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to hardware assets and inventory management systems.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hardware asset management or a similar IT asset management role, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management module or equivalent HAM solutions.
- Excellent understanding of hardware lifecycle processes (procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement, and disposal).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable providing training and support to users.
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- ITIL certification or relevant hardware asset management credentials is an advantage.
