Join Aurora Resilience Solutions as our Head of Crisis Management, leading the design and execution of enterprise-wide crisis response, business continuity, and resilience strategies. You will partner with executives across risk, operations, security, IT, legal, and communications to protect people, assets, and reputation during complex events.
We are seeking a proactive leader who combines rigorous analysis with decisive action, capable of translating ambiguous risk scenarios into practical playbooks and clear executive messaging.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise crisis management, business continuity, and incident response programs.
- Coordinate cross-functional crisis response teams, including incident commanders, security, communications, IT, and operations.
- Lead crisis exercises (tabletop and simulated events) to validate plans, identify gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor threats and indicators, develop timely risk assessments, and prepare executive escalation and communications.
- Oversee media and stakeholder communications during crises, maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant messaging.
- Partner with legal and compliance to ensure regulatory readiness and post-incident reporting.
- Advise leadership on risk reduction, recovery strategies, and resource allocation to strengthen resilience.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in risk management, security studies, business administration, or related field; MBA or Masterâs preferred.
- Minimum 7 yearsâ experience in crisis management, business continuity, security, or risk management within corporate or public sector environments.
- Certifications such as CISM, CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.
- Proven track record leading incident response, crisis communications, and stakeholder management under pressure.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and leadership skills; ability to operate across seniorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to craft executive-level messages and field media inquiries.
- Experience conducting exercises, drills, and training; travel flexibility as needed.
