Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of comprehensive coaching programs for multiple sports, focusing on skill development, tactical understanding, and performance tracking.
- Recruit, train, and mentor assistant coaches, volunteers, and referees; promote safety, professionalism, and a growth mindset.
- Plan and supervise daily practice sessions, competitions, and camps; tailor sessions for varied skill levels and ages.
- Assess athlete progress using objective metrics; provide actionable feedback and adjust curricula accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, schools, and community partners to drive participation, retention, and program quality.
- Ensure compliance with league rules, safety protocols, risk management, and ethical standards.
- Lead program promotion and community outreach, including showcases, clinics, and open houses.
- Cultivate an inclusive culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, resilience, and personal growth.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field; applicable certifications (e.g., USSF, NATA, USAW) preferred.
- 3–5+ years of coaching or program leadership experience with youth and/or amateur athletes.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and motivational skills; adept at working with diverse families and partners.
- Strong knowledge of sport-specific fundamentals, injury prevention, and basic nutrition principles.
- First aid/CPR certification and demonstrated risk management practices.
- Proven ability to design age-appropriate curricula and evaluate athlete progress with metrics.
- Commitment to safety, ethics, and ongoing professional development; willingness to undergo background checks.
